ABOUT THE COURSE
Your freediving journey starts right here! The PADI Freediver course kicks off with online eLearning, then moves to the pool where you’ll practice your skills. Finally, you’ll take two exhilarating open water dives (in an ocean or lake) to test what you’ve learned.
THIS COURSE INTRODUCES YOU TO 4 KEY FREE-DIVING PRINCIPLES:

Static Apnea: Holding your breath while still in water.

Dynamic Apnea: Holding your breath while swimming horizontally for distance.

Free Immersion: Pulling yourself down a guideline to a specific depth.

Constant Weight: Diving to depth with fins or without, but no pulling or assistance.

GETTING STARTED
Step 1:
Book your course, choose your ideal date, and pay your deposit. Once enrolled, you’ll have immediate access to PADI’s e-learning materials, which you can study at your own pace—online or offline, on any device. If you ever need help, your instructor is just a message away!
Duration: 3 - 4 hours of study time.
Step 2:
Now that you can hold your breath, it’s time for the real fun! You’ll complete two open water sessions, typically at Miracle Waters, our prime freediving spot. You can get qualified in just one day. If you need more time, no problem—book an extra session with your instructor.
Duration: 4 - 6 hours
