Scuba Diving

Scuba diving at Ponta Malongane in Mozambique is an experience like no other, and having lived there for two years, I can confidently say it’s one of my top three dive spots in the world! With its warm, clear waters and rich biodiversity, Ponta Malongane offers incredible reefs and a variety of marine species that make every dive feels like your first time.

Famous Reefs at Ponta Malongane

  1. Doodles Reef: Known for its stunning coral gardens, this reef bursts with colourful corals and schools of tropical fish—an underwater kaleidoscope! Sometimes you have to push the fish out of the way to see the divers…

  2. Paradise Reef: With dramatic topography and vibrant marine life, this reef is an absolute must-dive, with everything from reef fish to soft corals.

  3. Pinnacles: A reef that’s often on every diver’s list, Pinnacles is a fantastic spot to see large pelagic species, such as sharks and barracudas, especially during certain times of the year.

  4. Texas: A deeper dive that attracts larger marine life, including rays and reef sharks—ideal for adventurous divers looking for a thrill.

  5. Kev’s Ledge: This unique reef showcases a stunning variety of marine life and vibrant corals, providing both a relaxing and visually captivating dive. We even saw a little Seahorse on the last trip!
